Sana Malik Shaikh hails from a family of farmers who migrated from Dhuswa, Uttar Pradesh, in the 1950s. Her education and life lessons were shaped by Mumbai's diverse and vibrant culture. She began her professional journey as an architect and later earned an LLB degree, building a strong foundation across architecture, law, business, and social reform.
Today she serves as MLA for Anushakti Nagar, spokesperson for the Maharashtra wing of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), and trustee of the Rehbar Foundation and Dadamiya Foundation — working every day for social justice, education, economic opportunity, and community well-being.
